Brewing Guide

Herbal Tisanes
4 - 6 minutes at 100°C

Black Tea
3 - 5 minutes at 100°C

Green Tea
3 - 5 minutes at 80°C

Oolong Tea
3 - 5 minutes at 90°C

Tea Tip: If you dont have a whizz-bang kettle with a variable temperature setting, boil the water until completion (100°C) and let it sit in the kettle with the lid open for a few minutes. This will bring the temperature down to avoid burning green or oolong tea and turning it bitter.

About Jodie (Head Blender)

Hey there! I’m Jodie - the blender behind The Tea Crowd. You’ll usually find me in the kitchen, mixing and matching organic tea leaves, fruits and herbs until the perfect blend is born. It’s my kind of magic!

I started The Tea Crowd in 2017 while searching for better alternatives to coffee, sweetened drinks and alcohol. After being diagnosed with endometriosis and IBS - plus dealing with gluten intolerance and dairy sensitivity - I found that some existing tea brands teas were triggering my symptoms. Hidden additives, artificial flavorings and low-quality ingredients? No thanks!

I wanted a tea I could sip all day - one that tasted amazing and had real, natural health benefits. So, I set out to create exactly that. I’m proud to produce small-batch, high-quality teas with nothing but the good stuff. No sneaky additives, no artificial flavors - just pure, delicious tea. What you see in your cup is what you get... tea as it should be!

Each blend is handcrafted and packed fresh in small batches right here in Perth, Western Australia.

Good tea has a way of bringing people together - so go ahead, pop the kettle on, grab a cup and create your own little ‘tea crowd.’ Whether it’s a peaceful solo sip or a lively catch up with friends (with endless refills, of course!), every brew is a moment to enjoy.

Happy brewing!

Love this tea, have repurchased several times now. So good for a bit of spice and a burst of flavour, and even better when you feel a bit under the weather.

The warm hug of teas

This was the first tea I tried at my local yoga studio and had to ask where it came from as I needed some for my own tea collection! It's a beautiful strong ginger taste, balanced with the lemongrass notes. Perfect warm on a colder/winter morning, or iced in the summertime. It's like a big, warm hug!
